Why We Paused, What’s Next: A Real Talk on Our Ever Petite Delay

Let’s keep it real.

Ever Petite hit a wall.

We were gaining momentum. Our Instagram was growing, the community was buzzing, we were in talks with amazing petite brands and partners, and the blog was finding its rhythm. Then everything stopped.

First came the hack.

We lost our entire Instagram account—an account that was nearing a thousand real followers who were starting to believe in the movement. It wasn’t just a technical issue. It was a gut-punch. A stupid mistake on my end gave someone else access, and just like that, everything we’d built was gone. I’ve never felt more defeated.

We tried to bounce back—got Meta involved, tried to recover it, tried everything. Eventually, we had to start over.

Then came the compounding delays.

What started as one hiccup turned into a full-blown traffic jam. We ran into issue after issue with our dev team. It wasn’t just about a missed deadline here and there—it was a fundamental breakdown in understanding what Ever Petite was supposed to be. They didn’t grasp the full lift. The complexity. The vision. And after too many rounds of edits, too many missed cues, we had to make the tough decision to shift gears and bring in a more technical development team.

That change, while necessary, caused even more delays.

Our website, which was originally scheduled to launch in April, is now set for June. And that’s hard to say out loud.

It wasn’t just tech. Life hit, too.

I’m funding Ever Petite entirely out of pocket while working a demanding full-time job. I’m a mom. I’ve been dealing with heavy personal transitions behind the scenes. And when all of that hits at once, it takes a toll.

It took a toll on me.

We also didn’t onboard as many partners as I’d hoped by now. I won’t sugarcoat that either.

And for a while, I let that get to me. I slowed down. I got discouraged. I started questioning if this would ever get off the ground.

But here’s the truth:

I still believe in Ever Petite—fiercely.

I believe in a future where petite fashion isn’t an afterthought. Where we don’t have to dig through racks or settle for something that almost fits. Where we walk into malls or shop online and see just as many options tailored for our bodies as anyone else.

That’s why I’m still here.

Why this platform still matters.

Ever Petite isn’t just a website. It’s a movement. It’s about bringing together tailors, stylists, brands, designers, and petite women from all walks of life into one place—one searchable, filterable, reliable space that says: you belong here.

So yes, we paused.

But we didn’t stop.

The blog is back.

The YouTube is starting.

The new IG is live.

The Circle community is open (and ready for you).

And the site launching in the summer

I’m not giving up. If anything, all of this lit a fire under me. Because I know we’re building something that matters.

If you’ve been riding with me since the beginning, thank you. If you’re new here, welcome. And if you’ve ever felt like the fashion industry forgot about you because of your height—stay tuned. We’re just getting started.
