Happy New Year! We’ve made it to 2025, and if I had to describe the past year in just one word, it would be gratitude. Gratitude for all of you who have joined the Ever Petite movement and for the pride I feel in how far we’ve come together.
Ever Petite started as a spark of frustration, ignited by the challenges I faced as a 4’11” woman in a world that often forgets women like us. What began as a personal mission to solve my own shopping struggles has become a thriving platform, a growing community, and a powerful movement thanks to your belief and support.
Starting Ever Petite wasn’t just about addressing the lack of petite fashion options—it was about rewriting the narrative.
It’s about empowering petite women to embrace their unique beauty, shop with confidence, and feel represented in a way the fashion industry often ignores. This platform is for you. It’s yours as much as it is mine, because without you, Ever Petite doesn’t exist. Together, we’re proving that petite women deserve better—and we’re not settling for less.
As we step into this new year, I want to reflect on the journey so far, share what’s ahead for Ever Petite, and, most importantly, ask for your input. Your voice is essential to shaping the future of this movement.
Reflecting on Our Journey
2024 was a year of growth, learning, and connection. From launching our first blog to expanding our community and landing our first major affiliate partnership with J.Jill, we’ve accomplished so much together. Our Dev Team is working tirelessly to bring the first-ever petite-focused website and measurement app to life, and I’m thrilled about what we’ll launch in April.
We’ve also had the privilege of featuring and collaborating with some amazing petite-focused influencers, brands, designers, and supporters. A special thank you to everyone we’ve highlighted in our blogs—you inspire and drive this community forward. We’re excited to continue spotlighting the incredible movers and shakers in the petite world.
Has Ever Petite Lived Up to the Hype?
Let’s be honest—has Ever Petite lived up to your expectations? Are you excited about what we’re doing? Do you understand our mission? I want your honest feedback because this isn’t just my platform—it’s yours too. The movement doesn’t succeed without you, and your voice is critical in shaping our future.

Lessons That Defined 2024
Reflecting on the past year, here are the lessons that shaped me and Ever Petite:
- Dreams Require Bold Action and Support
Building something meaningful takes grit, preparation, and sometimes jumping without a safety net. I’ve learned the value of saving and planning to make your passion a reality—and the importance of having a supportive community to lift you up when the going gets tough. - Community Is the Best Investment
Joining and learning from others has been life-changing. Podcasts like SPI Community and collaborating with like-minded individuals have reminded me that the best ideas are born when we share, listen, and grow together. - You Can’t Do It All—Delegate and Trust
Trying to do everything yourself is a fast track to burnout. Surrounding myself with passionate, talented people who share this vision has been a game-changer. It’s not just about lightening the load—it’s about creating something even better together. My success wouldn’t be possible without my team – huge thank you to my Chief Operating Officer – Germaine! You are outstanding and I cant wait to see how we continue to build together. - Stay Curious and Keep Learning
You don’t need all the answers to start, but you do need the willingness to learn. By working with experts and listening to our community, I’ve grown in ways I never thought possible. Life is a continual experiment, and that’s what makes it beautiful. - Self-Care Is Non-Negotiable
Burnout is real, and mental health is just as important as physical health. I’ve learned the hard way that running on fumes isn’t sustainable. Prioritizing rest, mental wellness, and spiritual growth isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. When I take care of myself, everything else falls into place.
What to Expect From Ever Petite in 2025
This year, we’re focusing on making Ever Petite even more impactful and personal for you:
- Launching Our Community Platform on Circle: A space for petite women to connect, share, and support each other.
- Creating More Social Media Content: I’ll be stepping in front of the camera more so you can get to know me and the heart behind Ever Petite.
- Teaming Up With Petite Influencers and Brands: Collaborating with others who share our mission to bring you better resources and inspiration.
- Launching Our YouTube Channel: Unique content tailored to petite women is on the way.
- Expanding Our Affiliate Partnerships: These partnerships will keep Ever Petite thriving while providing you with more petite-friendly options.
- Supporting Petite-Focused Brands: My personal goal is to shop 80% from petite companies this year and share my experiences with you.
- Hiring and Growing Our Team: Bringing on more passionate people will help us serve you better—and maybe even let me take a weekend off!
On a personal note, I’m committing to slowing down and cherishing life. Whether it’s spending more time with my boys, dancing again (my first love), or traveling more, I’m determined to embrace life’s moments instead of rushing past them.
The Big Ask: Help Us Yell It From the Rooftops
One of the biggest challenges we still face is convincing petite women that they are, in fact, petite. Society has conditioned us to think “petite” means something delicate or specific to body type, but in the fashion industry, petite simply means short—5’4” (sometimes 5’5”) and under. That’s it!
Most women who fall into this category don’t even realize it, and as a result, they settle for ill-fitting clothing or lose their love for fashion altogether. This is where Ever Petite comes in. We’re here to remind you:
You deserve better. You are not alone. And together, we can make the industry take notice.
Let’s Keep Growing Together
Ever Petite is here for one reason: to make life better for petite women. We’re challenging the industry to do better, and we’re creating a space where being petite isn’t a disadvantage—it’s something to celebrate.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we’re not just changing fashion—we’re redefining what it means to be petite.
With love and gratitude,
Avonne
