Christen Johnson is the force behind SCB Luxury Styling, based in Baltimore, MD. With over a decade of experience and a lifelong passion for fashion, Christen brings an intentional, elevated approach to helping women—especially petite women—transform how they see themselves through style.
A Passion That Started in the Third Grade
Christen’s styling journey began early—really early. “It started way back in third grade when my mom let me start picking out my own outfits,” she shares. That spark of joy turned into a powerful career built around helping women feel strong, aligned, and seen.
After years in retail, internships, and hands-on wardrobe work, she launched SCB Luxury Styling with a mission to empower women through customized, purpose-filled style.
Petite Style with Intention
As a petite woman herself, Christen understands the challenges of shopping off-the-rack and not seeing your proportions reflected in mainstream fashion. “It’s not just about being short—it’s about learning how to work with your proportions,” she explains.
Her focus is on building confidence through fit, proportion, and clarity. She often works with clients who say things like “I can’t wear that”—and she helps them prove themselves wrong, with intention and styling education to back it up.
Her secret weapon? Tailoring. “It’s not a luxury—it’s a necessity,” Christen insists. “Most pieces aren’t made with petite proportions in mind, so tailoring is the difference between ‘okay’ and wow.”
The CEO Method & The Body Shape Bible
Christen is the creator of the C.E.O. Method, a powerful system that stands for:
- Consider the Client’s Journey
- Evaluate Your Shape
- Own Your Style
This framework led to the creation of her signature resource: The Body Shape Bible, a style guide designed to help women identify their shape, dress with confidence, and stop second-guessing themselves in the mirror.
Whether you’re petite, curvy, tall, or somewhere in between—this book offers a clear, empowering roadmap to getting dressed with clarity and confidence.

A Moment That Says It All
While Christen has helped countless women rethink their style, one theme keeps coming up: clients using their height as an excuse. “I push them—even when they resist—because I know they’ll thank me later,” she says. Helping petite women feel powerful in clothes they thought they couldn’t wear is her superpower.
Christen’s Motto:
“Shifting your relationship with style.”
What’s Next
Christen recently launched new styling offers—including one centered on “style therapy”—and she’s planning a live immersive event to help clients unlock their signature style in real time. She’s also continuing to grow the reach of The Body Shape Bible and expand how women access this vital knowledge.

My Take:
The Book, the Method, and the Confidence Shift We All Deserve
I love when someone not only understands fashion—but understands women. That’s exactly who Christen is. Her ability to break down limiting beliefs while building people up? That’s powerful. And don’t get me started on her CEO Method—yes, ma’am! Consider the journey, evaluate the shape, and own the style? That’s a framework and a mindset.
But what really took me out was her The Body Shape Bible. I freaking love that she created this. It’s not just something the petite community needs—it’s something all women need. We’re out here navigating fit, shape, body changes, and wardrobe stress with no real guide, and Christen said, “Here. Let me give you one.” It’s clear, it’s empowering, and it removes the guesswork from getting dressed.
She’s not just a stylist—she’s a resource, a coach, and a confidence-builder. And what I appreciate most is how she makes women feel capable of showing up fully in their bodies—no matter their height, shape, or age.
Christen’s voice matters. Her work matters. And if you haven’t checked out The Body Shape Bible yet, trust me—you’re going to want to.
